I have over 10 years of experience in performing research, identification and qualification of funding sources, understanding grantor instructions and requirements, preparing successful and complete grant applications, submitting grant applications per the grantor’s requirement, and post-award grant management including grantor relationship management – mostly working with state and federal grant programs but also local government, corporations/foundations, and associations. In addition to grants, I have prepared federal direct spending requests and case statements that led to funding from individual and corporate donors, and project statements to start conversations with partners, stakeholders and funders.

I worked as the Executive Director for a Public Development Authority for over three years delivering a suite of concierge services for businesses including performing studies and generating reports leading to the attraction and expansion of businesses in Kittitas County, WA.

Featured key wins:

· Broadband

Secured Public Works Board funding for a feasibility study to identify un/underserved residents in Kittitas County. This led to my founding of the Broadband Action Team, a Community Economic Revitalization Board grant authored for Kittitas County, and ultimately millions now being invested in broadband expansion

· New business attraction: Winco Distribution Center

Offered concierge services to the Winco team resulting in construction of a 1,000,000+SF distribution center, 240 jobs created, $14 million annual wage generation, and over $400 million in construction costs
